AES Repair Process
Once we have received your item for repair, we will receive the item in our system.
1Our quoting specialists will evaluate your item and determine the parts and labor necessary to complete the repair.
2Following your approval, we will get to work on your repair. One of our repair technicians will troubleshoot the problem(s) with the item.
3To ensure the highest level of quality throughout the repair process, we comply with ISO 9001:2015 standards, and an ESD program.
4Once the repair is complete, we safely package your item and prepare the item for delivery or shipment.
5Receiving
Once we have received your item for repair, we will receive the item in our system. Each item is photographed and assigned a repair order number also referred to as a service ID. This number allows us to track your repair through the entire process. From this point, the item travels to our quoting department.
Quoting
Our quoting specialists will evaluate your item and determine the parts and labor necessary to complete the repair. In many cases, we have extensive experience repairing the item you have sent in. In this case, we have what is called a “firm fixed price” which is a repair cost that we have developed based on historical data and industry pricing. This allows you to easily budget for your repairs knowing that repairs with firm fixed pricing will not fluctuate. Your assigned Account Manager will provide you with the repair quote and once approved, the repair process will begin.
Repair
Following your approval, we will get to work on your repair. One of our repair technicians will troubleshoot the problem(s) with the item, identify & replace faulty components, perform preventive maintenance and final testing. Once the item has been repaired, the technician will complete a repair report as well as clean the item.
Quality
To ensure the highest level of quality throughout the repair process, we comply with ISO 9001:2015 standards, and an ESD program. We have a team of senior repair technicians with more than 30 years experience each in addition to our team of engineers, all of who are constantly working to continuously improve our repair process and capabilities.
Shipment
Once the repair is complete, we safely package your item and prepare the item for delivery or shipment. If you are in our pick-up & delivery areas, one of our delivery drivers will deliver the item to you in one of our own AES fleet vehicles. If you are outside of our delivery areas, we will ship the item to you.
